Birth preparation

Preparing for childbirth is about physical preparation as much as it is about creating a informed and empowered mindset.  It is about building knoweledge and confidence. Learn breathing techniques, exercises, and measures that provide relief and comfort during labor and allow you to approach birth in confidence. I combine breathwork education, prenatal movement exercises, guided hypnotherapy meditation, and aromatherapy for deep relaxation coupled with a sense of confidence. We also address the post partum which is a crucial period for which one must prepare for.

Pelvic floor rehabilitation

The breath guides the movement and shapes the body
Through breathing and posture, we work deeply and effectively on the pelvic floor and deep abdominal muscles. By combining powerful approaches, women gain a functional perineum, improved posture, better digestion, a pain-free back, a toned stomach and a slimmer waist. For new mothers, I offer home visits for postpartum rehabilitation. The methods I use are:
  • Winner Flow
  • Gymnastique hypopressive
  • Méthode De Gasquet
  • Exercices fonctionnels

Shantala baby massage

In southern India, Shantala massage is a therapeutic massage that is an integral part of a child's early years. Shantala is practised from the fourth week onwards. More than just a massage, it is a relaxing ritual for both parent and child that promotes bonding. The massage helps relieve colic, promotes sleep and supports the baby's healthy psychomotor and emotional development.

Practices

Winner flow
Winner Flow is a gentle method that uses a mouthpiece to regulate exhaled air, allowing you to breathe optimally during pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period. By learning to activate the transverse abdominis muscle during pregnancy, you can protect your perineum and facilitate expulsion during birth and postpartum muscle recovery. During labour, Winner Flow can help increase the effectiveness of contractions by using breathing.
Gymnastique hypopressive
Hypopressive exercise is a breathing and postural technique that activates the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles and repositions the genital organs. Hypopressive exercises have a beneficial effect on waistline refinement, digestion, venous circulation in the legs and emotional health. This technique is exceptionally effective for deep rehabilitation of the pelvic floor and abdominals.
Méthode De Gasquet
This method combines posture and expiratory work to engage the perineum and transverse muscle. It also involves working on body proprioception. The aim is to feel and visualise the lifting of the perineum. Then, the expiratory work engages the perineum in an optimal way.
hypnose natale
Birth hypnosis is a gentle method used during pregnancy to help expectant mothers better cope with this important period. It helps manage fears related to childbirth and facilitates communication between the mother and her baby. It is a wonderful tool for giving birth with complete peace of mind.
